2003-2004 Season Review
Darton Golf wrapped up the 2003-04 season with a fifth place finish at the NJCAA DII National Championship. Brandon Anthony led the Cavs firing a four-round total of 268 (+1) to earn sixth place and All-America honors. Donnie Parker finished 20th with a 298, Bennett Maki was 51st at 307, Jason Flowers was 76th at 313 and Michael Deariso finished 115th shooting a 332. The fifth place National finish completes a banner year for the Cavs who successfully defended their back-to-back region titles by shooting a record team score of 877 in the Region XVII Tournament.
2002-2003 Season Review
The 2003 Darton squad defended its Region XVII title and finished 10th at the National Tournament in Phoenix, AZ. Brent Dorner, who now plays for Troy State University (Division I), was named to the All-America team. All of the other sophomores on the 2003 team earned scholarships to and are currently playing for four year schools.
2001-2002 Season Review
In 2002 DC won the first of its back-to-back-to-back Region XVII titles and attended the National Tournament in Phoenix, placing 14th in the nation. The Darton Golf program competes at the highest regional and national level and attracts some of the top junior golfers in the country. The annual goal is to win a National Championship for Darton College and the city of Albany.
